Abu Dhabi Education Council
ADEK’s main role is to develop the education system in Abu Dhabi, and promote a culture of creativity, sustainability and excellence, with a focus on developing human, social and economic capabilities.
Design should meet Abu Dhabi Education Council ADEC criteria and standards. The approval procedure is divided into three steps:
- Space program approval
- Concept design approval
- Final construction documents approval
Required documents for ADEK approval:
- Space program
- Site plan
- Architectural concept design
- Abu Dhabi civil defense ADCD approval
- Final construction documents (architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, irrigation and landscape drawings)
- Owner’s approval on design
